The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in bench sales, vendor management, rate negotiation, consultant marketing, and client coordination within the US staffing ecosystem.This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong network of prime vendors and implementation partners, and the ability to place consultants efficiently on C2C, W2, and contract opportunities.Key ResponsibilitiesMarket bench consultants across the US IT staffing marketBuild and maintain relationships with prime vendors, implementation partners, and staffing agenciesIdentify suitable contract opportunities for consultants based on technologies and experienceNegotiate billing rates, contract terms, and client requirementsCoordinate interviews, submissions, follow-ups, and onboarding processesMaintain daily tracking of submissions, interviews, and placementsWork closely with recruiters and account managers to fulfill client requirementsEnsure consultants are marketed aggressively through job portals, LinkedIn, and vendor networksManage end-to-end bench sales lifecycle from sourcing opportunities to successful placementMaintain updated consultant profiles, resumes, and availability statusRequired Skills & Qualifications3+ years of proven experience in US Bench Sales / US IT StaffingStrong understanding of the US recruitment and staffing processHands-on experience with job portals such as Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder, and LinkedInStrong network of vendors and implementation partners in the USA marketExcellent negotiation and communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environmentStrong understanding of visa types including H1B, OPT, CPT, GC, and USCExperience working with technologies such as Java, .NET, DevOps, Cloud, Data Engineering, AI/ML, Cybersecurity, etc.Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business, HR, IT, or related fieldExperience handling multiple consultants simultaneouslyStrong expertise in rate negotiations and consultant positioningAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionKPIs / Performance MetricsConsultant submissions per weekInterview conversion ratioSuccessful placementsVendor engagement and relationship growthRevenue contribution through consultant placementsWhy Join Us?High-growth environment with strong exposure to the US staffing marketPerformance-based incentives and career progressionOpportunity to work with global clients and technologiesCollaborative and fast-paced recruitment cultureOriginally posted on Himalayas
