**Full\-Time\-In Person Only\-*****NO REMOTE*** **\| Plaintiff Personal Injury \| Pre\-Litigation**
**Overview**
Braff Law Firm is seeking an experienced **Firmwide** **Demand Writer in person** to lead all settlement demand preparation across the firm and to join our growing Personal Injury team. This is **not an entry\-level legal writing position**. We are looking for someone with extensive **California plaintiff personal injury pre\-litigation experience** who understands the life cycle of a case from intake through settlement.
The ideal candidate has previously worked as a **Pre\-Litigation Case Manager or Demand Writer** and understands how to analyze liability, evaluate treatment, review medical records, verify medical billing, identify damages, and prepare compelling settlement demand packages that maximize case value.
This position requires someone who thrives in a **high\-volume, fast\-paced environment** and can consistently produce **15–20 high\-quality demand packages per week (or more)** while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

**Key Responsibilities**Demand Preparation
* Prepare persuasive, comprehensive settlement demand packages for personal injury claims.
* Draft compelling narratives that clearly explain liability, injuries, treatment, pain and suffering, future damages, wage loss, and supporting evidence.
* Ensure every demand accurately reflects the client's treatment timeline and damages.
Medical Records \& Billing Review
* Thoroughly review and analyze medical records to understand diagnoses, treatment progression, recommendations, and future care.
* Carefully audit all medical bills for accuracy, completeness, duplicate charges, and proper calculations.
* Verify balances, liens, reductions, and outstanding medical expenses before demands are finalized.
* Identify missing records or billing discrepancies and coordinate with providers to obtain corrected documentation.
Case Analysis
* Evaluate liability, comparative negligence, insurance coverage, policy limits, and case strengths.
* Identify missing evidence needed to maximize settlement value.
* Recognize red flags that should be escalated to attorneys.
* Understand California personal injury claims and insurance negotiation practices.
Collaboration
* Work closely with attorneys, case managers, medical records staff, and lien negotiators.
* Coordinate with medical providers to obtain outstanding records and billing.
* Communicate with insurance adjusters regarding demand submissions when necessary.
* Maintain accurate notes and documentation within Filevine.
Case Management Support
* Review treatment status to determine demand readiness.
