Your proactive approach and strong communication skills will drive customer satisfaction and foster long\-term partnerships in the supply chain industry. **Responsibilities** * Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and carriers through effective communication and exceptional customer service. * Coordinate freight shipments by managing transportation planning, dispatching, and scheduling using transportation management systems (TMS) and other CRM software. * Negotiate rates, contracts, and service terms with carriers and clients to optimize pricing strategies while ensuring compliance with trade regulations such as FDA standards and international trade laws. * Manage all aspects of freight brokerage operations including data entry, dispatching, lead generation, and tracking shipments via EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) and AS400 systems. * Oversee shipping logistics for various modes including air freight, ocean freight (NVOCC \- Non\-Vessel Operating Common Carrier), and trucking, ensuring timely delivery and cost efficiency. * Monitor supply chain activities to identify opportunities for process improvement within logistics company frameworks like 3PL (Third\-Party Logistics) providers and freight forwarding logistics. * Maintain accurate records of shipments, contracts, pricing agreements, and compliance documentation to support audit readiness and operational transparency. **Skills** * Extensive knowledge of supply chain management, transportation management systems (TMS), and logistics planning. * Proven experience in freight brokerage, shipping logistics, and transportation sales across multiple modes including air freight and ocean freight. * Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable rates while maintaining excellent customer relationships. * Proficiency in CRM software such as Salesforce or similar platforms for client relationship management. * Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for data entry, reporting, and communication purposes. * Exceptional customer service skills combined with inside sales experience to generate leads and expand client base. * Ability to manage contracts effectively while ensuring adherence to transportation laws and safety standards.
