In this vital role, you will manage and maintain accurate financial records ensuring compliance with accounting standards and delivering clear financial insights. Your expertise in accounting software and financial concepts will drive precise bookkeeping operations and support strategic decision\-making. **Duties** * Record and process journal entries. * Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations to verify account balances and identify discrepancies promptly. * Conduct balance sheet reconciliation to ensure the integrity of financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). * generate quarterly and annual payroll reports * Maintain thorough documentation of all bookkeeping activities, journal entries, and account reconciliations for audit readiness. **Experience** * Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role with a strong understanding of technical accounting principles. * Familiarity with GAAP standards and governmental accounting practices is highly desirable. * Demonstrated ability to perform bank reconciliations, general ledger reconciliation, and account analysis accurately. **Come Join An Organization With 41 Years of History In Serving the Public!** Pay: $25\.00 \- $27\.00 per hour Application Question(s): * Explain your work in the past five years.
