**Software Tester/Quality Assurance** ***(Long\-Term Independent Contractor)*** **Position Summary** An elite hospitality and vacation servicing company is searching for the right Software Tester to join our diverse, cutting\-edge development team of fully remote, Independent Contractors. The Software Tester is a long\-term contracting position providing a wide variety of technical experience, including end\-to\-end application testing for cloud\-based applications, high\-performance mobile apps, and internal applications. The Software Tester participates in daily Scrum meetings, conducts comprehensive functional and regression testing, identifies defects and areas for improvement, and serves as a key collaborator and resource for development teams. Working closely with Business Analysts and stakeholders, the Software Tester helps analyze and validate business requirements, ensuring that user needs are accurately translated into system functionality and thoroughly tested. You will have the opportunity to learn and make an impact. **Primary Responsibilities and Functions:** · 3\+ years of experience testing multi\-featured software / payment systems · 3\+ years of experience testing customer\-facing applications · 3\+ years of experience working with Agile development projects · Review product requirements, functional specifications, and user interfaces to design strategy for software validation · Identity effective test strategies and develop test plans for new products and features · Hands\-on experience utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Generative AI tools to improve testing efficiency and coverage. Experience leveraging AI for * Knowledge of AI\-assisted test automation platforms and tools, such as GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT or similar AI\-driven testing solutions. * Automated test case generation and optimization * Test data creation and management * Defect prediction and root cause analysis * Intelligent test execution and prioritization · High level of engagement, digging into problems, and resolving with the team · Thoroughly document software issues discovered including appropriate technical logs · Strong testing and QA ethics, such as developing unit, integration, and regression tests · Experience with Test Management and Defect Tracking tools · Engages in daily scrum meetings · Create test reports, dashboards, status reports · Develops/integrates scripts for User Interface/regression test aut
