This role partners closely with agile delivery teams to define, implement, and continuously improve testing approaches aligned with HES Quality Assurance standards and the Master Test Strategy. The Senior Test Engineer operates with minimal supervision, leads complex testing initiatives, influences quality decisions across teams, and serves as a role model for modern testing practices across web, API, batch, and data\-driven systems. **Key Responsibilities:** **"To simplify complexities for each customer."** * Acts as a senior embedded agile team member, providing technical leadership in sprint planning, execution, and delivery while ensuring sprint and release quality objectives are met. * Leads the application and evolution of HES Quality Assurance standards, including test stage ownership, entrance/exit criteria, Definition of Done, and audit readiness across teams. * Owns test strategy and approach for assigned products or initiatives, ensuring appropriate coverage across functional, integration, regression, performance, and risk\-based testing. * Designs, develops, and maintains robust, scalable automated test solutions using approved frameworks and tools (e.g., PlayWright, Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Rest Assured, Allure), supporting UI, API, batch, and data validation testing. * Leads and evolves automation strategy and regression suites, identifying opportunities to improve stability, execution speed, maintainability, and overall return on investment. * Integrates and maintains automated tests within CI/CD pipelines, supporting sprint level and release level quality gates using Azure DevOps and related tooling. * Oversees test management and governance within Azure DevOps, ensuring high quality test artifacts, traceability, execution evidence, and meaningful reporting. * Provides technical mentorship and coaching to Test Engineers and team members, promoting testing standards, best practices, and modern methodologies (e.g., BDD, TDD, exploratory testing and shift left testing). * Collaborates with product owners, architects, developers, and stakeholders to identify quality risks early, influence design for testability, and drive defect prevention. * Leads or supports complex production issue investigations, including root\-cause analysis, validation of fixes, and recommendations for quality improvements. * Communicates testing status, quality risks, and recommendations clearly to lea
