Bookkeeper

We’re looking for a motivated professional who thrives in a fast\-paced environment and is passionate about precision and efficiency. **Duties** * Maintain accurate and up\-to\-date financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar platforms * Perform general ledger accounting, including journal entries, account analysis, and account reconciliation to ensure data integrity * Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and bank reconciliation to verify the accuracy of financial statements * Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections * Prepare detailed financial reports, including budget analysis, financial report writing, and GAAP\-compliant statements * Handle payroll processing and tax experience to ensure compliance with governmental regulations * Support governmental accounting requirements and assist with audit preparations as needed **Experience** * Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles within corporate or non\-profit organizations * Strong knowledge of accounting principles such as GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and double entry bookkeeping * Hands\-on experience with popular accounting software including QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, Quicken, or similar tools * Familiarity with technical accounting concepts like journal entries, account reconciliation, and general ledger management * Ability to perform bank reconciliations, account analysis, and financial report writing efficiently * Knowledge of governmental accounting standards and tax regulations is a plus * Excellent attention to detail with proficiency in 10 key typing for data entry accuracy This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a collaborative environment where your contributions directly impact organizational success.
