This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and enjoys understanding business needs and translating them into effective accounting processes and solutions.
This position will play a key role in supporting end-to-end invoicing operations, including complex transaction processing, customer account maintenance, and process improvement initiatives. The Senior Analyst will partner closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate invoicing, timely issue resolution, and continuous improvement of service levels.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of handling complex accounting scenarios while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.
Position will be primarily remote. Team member must be willing to attend in-person meetings in Scottsdale, Arizona as requested.
Performs a variety of routine and non-routine analysis functions in accordance with standard accounting procedures, with a focus on Accounts Receivable and invoicing operations. Responsible for driving process improvements, standardizing procedures, supporting business units, and leading operational and analytical initiatives within the AR function.What You'll Do: Perform complex Accounts Receivable invoicing activities, including processing invoice uploads, adjustments, and credit memo applications in OracleManage and prioritize work from Shared Inbox, ensuring timely processing, proper documentation, and adherence to SLAsResearch and resolve invoice discrepancies, customer issues, and reconciliation variances across multiple systemsLoad and process billing files and ensure successful interface into Oracle, including review of interface reports and follow-up on exceptionsPerform and review credit memo applications, invoice adjustments, and manual billing corrections to ensure accurate account balancesSupport monthly and periodic processes such as small balance write-offs and aging-related activities, including preparation, validation, and approvalsAnalyze clarification trends and develop reporting to identify training and process improvement opportunitiesReview and maintain customer account data, including Internal vs. External classifications, collector assignments, and account setups, ensuring accuracy, data integrity, and alignment with organizational guidelinesActively pursue process improvements and drive automation, standardization, and efficiency initiativesPartner with cross-functional teams (Customer Service, Operations, IT, and Accounting) to resolve issues and enhance invoicing processesSupport audit and SOX compliance activities by maintaining documentation, responding to audit requests, and ensuring processes align with internal control requirementsWhat You'll Bring: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience3+ years of related accounting or financial analysis experience, preferably in Accounts Receivable, invoicing, or revenue operationsWorks under minimal supervisionRelies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goalsExercises a high degree of creativity and latitude in problem-solving and decision-makingCritical Thinking - Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problemsProblem Solving - Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutionsDemonstrates a conceptual understanding of accounting and finance principals and the ability to apply them to the duties described aboveStrong computer skills including all applications in Microsoft OfficeExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work cross-functionallyAbility to diagnose and analyze problems and identify and drive appropriate solutionsExperience facilitating meetings with high level cross functional teamsExperience with mainframe system, Oracle preferredExperience with SharePoint and workflow tools preferredPay Range: $50,800.00 - $67,700.00 AnnuallyThis hiring rang
