**Bookkeeper (Part\-Time / Monthly)** Company: KMD Contracting Services Location: Remote Position Type Part\-Time / Contract Approximately 1–2 days per month Position Summary: KMD Contracting Services is seeking a reliable and detail\-oriented Bookkeeper to support our growing janitorial and facility services business. This position is ideal for an experienced bookkeeping professional looking for flexible, once\-a\-month accounting work. Responsibilities * Reconcile business bank accounts and credit card statements * Review and categorize transactions in QuickBooks Online * Ensure invoices, payments, and expenses are properly recorded * Review accounts receivable and accounts payable balances * Assist with monthly financial reports and profit/loss statements * Monitor payroll\-related entries and expense tracking * Identify discrepancies and notify management of concerns * Maintain organized digital financial records * Coordinate with management regarding budgeting and financial planning * Prepare records for CPA or tax filing as needed Qualifications * Previous bookkeeping experience required * Experience using QuickBooks Online preferred * Strong attention to detail and accuracy * Ability to maintain confidentiality * Strong communication and organizational skills * Experience working with small businesses preferred * Knowledge of payroll and basic accounting principles Preferred Experience * Experience supporting service\-based companies * Familiarity with janitorial, construction, or facility service industries * Understanding of invoicing and Net\-30 billing environments Compensation: Competitive monthly flat\-rate or hourly compensation based on experience.
