Job Title: Business Development RepresentativeReports To:MD and Chief Cyber Market AnalystThe Business Development Representative at LaunchTech Communications, a CyberRisk Alliance company, will play a critical role in accelerating revenue growth by expanding adoption of LaunchTech’s press and media relations, analyst relations, content development, and social media offerings among established, growth-oriented cybersecurity and enterprise technology companies. This role is designed for a commercially driven professional who understands how strategic communications drive credibility, pipeline acceleration, valuation, and category leadership for technology companies operating at scale. Ideal candidates bring experience from PR agencies, B2B SaaS organizations, or cybersecurity vendors, and are comfortable selling consultative, outcome-oriented services to sophisticated buyers. The Business Development Representative will own prospecting and opportunity development, collaborate closely with marketing and delivery teams, and engage senior executives including CEOs, CMOs, and founders.Essential Functions• Audience Segmentation and TargetingConduct ongoing research to identify and prioritize prospective clients that demonstrate strong market traction, defined go-to-market motion, and sustained growth. Segment accounts based on solution category, funding maturity, public visibility, and communications needs. Identify key decision-makers across executive leadership, marketing, product marketing, and investor-facing roles. • Outreach Strategy and Execution Develop and execute targeted, insight-led outbound campaigns across email, phone, LinkedIn, and other relevant channels. Craft messaging that resonates with companies seeking to elevate market presence, influence analyst perception, support fundraising or expansion, and establish category authority. Partner with marketing and leadership to ensure consistency of narrative and positioning. • Lead Generation and Qualification Generate and qualify opportunities through outbound prospecting, inbound leads, events, referrals, and ecosystem relationships. Apply disciplined qualification criteria to assess readiness, scope, budget alignment, and strategic fit with LaunchTech’s communications offerings. • Sales Pipeline and Opportunity Management Own pipeline hygiene and progression within Salesforce, ensuring accurate activity tracking, forecasting, and reporting. Manage opportunities from first conversation through proposal development and close, coordinating internal stakeholders and ensuring seamless transition to account teams. • Relationship Building and Market Presence Build durable relationships with prospective clients, industry influencers, and partners. Represent LaunchTech at cybersecurity and enterprise technology events, briefings, and conferences. Proactively schedule executive meetings and targeted discussions in advance of key industry events. • Solution Positioning and Deal Support Position LaunchTech’s PR, analyst relations, content, and social media services as integrated, scalable solutions tied to measurable business outcomes. Contribute to proposals, scopes of work, and RFP responses by aligning client objectives to LaunchTech’s differentiated capabilities and proven impact. • Performance Reporting and Continuous Improvement Track KPIs including meeting quality, opportunity conversion, pipeline velocity, and revenue contribution. Analyze performance data to refine targeting, messaging, and go-to-market approach. Provide regular insights and recommendations to leadership. • Market Intelligence and Feedback Loop Continuously gather intelligence on buyer expectations, competitive landscape, pricing sensitivity, and evolving communications needs. Share insights to inform service packaging, positioning, and growth strategy. • Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) • 7+ years of experience in business development, sales, or revenue growth roles within PR agencies, B2B SaaS, cybersecurity, or enterprise technology • Demonstrated success selling consultative services or subscription-based offerings to mid-market or enterprise buyers • Strong understanding of PR, media relations, analyst relations, content marketing, and social media as revenue and credibility drivers • Experience engaging senior executives and navigating multi-stakeholder buying processes • Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms •Strong written and verbal communication skills • Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable operating in a performance-driven environmentPreferred Qualifications • Background in PR or communications agencies serving technology clients • Experience selling into cybersecurity or regulated industries • Established relationships with marketing leaders, founders, or investor-backed leadership teams • Comfort translating abstract value (brand, credibility, influence) into concrete business outcomes • Exper
