Job Description
OverviewManage Dendreon’s vendor apheresis collection accounts from site selection through on-going business management in designated region. This is a remote postion located in the Central Region. To eligible candidate must reside within the region ( MN, WI, MI, IA, OH, KY, IL, IN, MO, OK, KS, AR, NE) to be considered for this opportunity. ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain working relationships with apheresis collection accounts and internal business partners to successfully accomplish responsibilities (e.g. Clinical Nurse Manager, Sales Representatives, Division Sales Managers, Corporate Account Managers, Operations, and Quality)Work cross functionally to ensure apheresis collection vendors meet business requirements, successfully complete all on-boarding activities, and are prepared to perform collections for Dendreon within required timelinesWork with Legal and internal stakeholders to review and execute contract renewals and amendmentsDevelop and execute strategies to track and improve vendor performance, including participation in regular Quality and Operational reviews to assess, communicate, and implement programsProvide Quality support by participating in deviation/change management activities and impact/investigation assessments with assigned apheresis collection accountsManage departmental processes for deviations, change controls, and document management to comply with Dendreon’s quality requirements as they relate to apheresis collection vendorsMonitor apheresis account capacity and negotiate with account leadership to implement/reduce collection capacity when directedParticipate in deviation/change management activities, and impact/investigation assessments with assigned apheresis collection vendors in support of the Quality ProgramWork closely with corporate and field teams to manage assigned apheresis collection accountsFacilitate training workshops for apheresis collection accountsQualificationsBachelor's Degree in business or life sciencesMinimum two to four years’ experience working in a biotechnology, pharmaceutical or other relevant healthcare experienceVendor management experience preferredAbility to work effectively and produce high quality results in a fast-paced team environmentExceptional customer service orientation and proven success in a customer facing roleAbility to build effective relationships within the company and with external partners, at all levels, from technical/clinical staff to executivesAbility to influence internal and external stakeholders without direct authorityExcellent written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of Apheresis and/or Good Tissue Practices a plusOn-call and after hours support may be requiredWorking Conditions and Physical Requirements:25% travelDendreon is an equal employment and affirmative action employer F/M/Disability/Vet/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity.Originally posted on Himalayas
