Assistant Bookkeeper (Part\-Time, Remote \- Texas Only)
The Clever Ledger Bookkeeper, LLC is seeking an experienced Assistant Bookkeeper to join our growing team.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience with QuickBooks Online, reconciliations, bookkeeping cleanup/catch\-up projects, and accounting workflow software such as DoubleHQ or similar platforms. We are looking for a detail\-oriented bookkeeping professional who can confidently manage multiple client files and apply sound bookkeeping principles after becoming familiar with our firm's processes and procedures.
This position is well\-suited for someone who enjoys working with a variety of clients, takes pride in producing accurate financial records, and is looking to become part of a growing bookkeeping firm.

**Position Details**
* Part\-Time W\-2 Employee
* 100% Remote
* Texas Residents Only
* Approximately 10\-15 hours per week to start
* Additional hours may become available as the company grows
* Pay: $16\.00 \- $22\.00 per hour
**Responsibilities**
* Review and categorize financial transactions
* Complete bank and credit card reconciliations
* Assist with bookkeeping cleanup and catch\-up projects
* Prepare and review financial reports
* Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
* Maintain organized client files and supporting documentation
* Assist with special bookkeeping projects as assigned
* Follow established company procedures and workflows
**Required Qualifications**
* 2\+ years of bookkeeping experience
* Experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO)
* Experience with DoubleHQ or similar accounting workflow, project management, or time\-tracking software
* Experience with bookkeeping cleanup, catch\-up work, and error correction
* Strong reconciliation experience, including researching and resolving discrepancies
* Experience managing multiple client files
* Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace
* Strong organizational, communication, and time\-management skills
* High attention to detail and accuracy
**Additional Requirements**
* Must reside in Texas
* Dedicated home office workspace
* Reliable computer and secure high\-speed internet connection
* Availability during normal business hours for meetings and collaboration as needed
* Ability to work scheduled hours and meet established deadlines
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and safeguard sensitive financial information
* Must pass a background check
* Qualified candidates may be asked to complete a bookkeeping assessment as part of the hiring process
