A mix of strategic planning and hands-on executionSummaryResponsible for leading the communication team that is responsible for creating an informed, engaged, and inspired workforce. Responsible for overseeing all internal and corporate communication strategies to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of communications.Job DescriptionResponsible for planning, developing and implementing internal communication strategies across the enterprise and helps to create informed, engaged, and inspired workforce through the development of effective internal communications. Ensures the teams are delivering on the roles and expectations of the communication team. Creating a positive team culture, through effective communication and development of communication team members. Ensures that the correct structures are in place, clarity in core roles, and workload is balanced and prioritized to deliver great execution. Invests in individual team member development through effective coaching, feedback, and development activities. Responsible for the delivery and execution of communication services and technologies. Creates, implements, and oversees communications programs that effectively describe and promote the healthcare organization and its services. Works as a collaborator and is proactive in establishing working relationships and partnerships across the organization. Possesses strong customer service skills with a demonstrated passion for delivering the best product. Serves as a coach to staff involved in any communication events or presentations.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Communication, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field is required. Master's in Business Administration (MBA) or Master’s degree in Communications or related field is preferred.
Minimum of three years of experience required. Possesses proven team leadership experience.
