We are currently looking for a motivated Investment Associate to support us with our M&A efforts. In the following role, you will be working closely with the CEO, Head of Finance, Head of Operations and Head of Business Development.What we offer: Work with a group of international professionals bringing wealth of experience from gaming and tech industryDynamic environment where you can come across thought-provoking challengesProjects that will allow you to use your entrepreneurial mindset, show ownership and have actual influence on decision makingFlexible working hours and possibility of working from anywhere in the worldCompetitive salary and opportunity to growAreas of responsibility:Sourcing - proactively identifying new investment opportunities and qualifying inbound leads for the firm by meeting with entrepreneursDeal Diligence - helping the team evaluate new investment opportunities through market research, product reviews, competitive analysis, metrics analysis, customer/user reviews and operational and financial diligenceAssist in negotiating all transactions between the business and potential acquisitions; creates investment conclusions and similar presentations for management for assessment, valuation and modelling of various transaction types and structuresLiaise with the legal and finance departments in ensuring that there is a seamless execution of merger and acquisition transactionsDevelop detailed financial models and valuation analyses for all potential transactions and provides input into the preparation of technical reports for senior management that effectively communicate all review findingsStay informed on market trends governing mergers and acquisitions, ensuring that all of the business's M&A initiatives are within the confines of the lawAssist and mentor Analysts concerning the activities of engagement of prospective business/company owners and other M&A responsibilitiesIdentify and mitigate potential risks associated with the acquisitions and the execution of the dealsQualifications:Bachelor' s Degree *required* (Masters degree preferred) in Business/Accounting/ Finance/Economics or any other related field with a strong GPAAt least 3 years of work experience in Private Equity Investing, Corporate Finance or Banking or in a M&A positionThe candidate must also have had a proven track record of building relationships and successfully managing foreign business executives and multiple stakeholdersExcellent understanding of financial statements, financial concepts, financial modelling, business modelling, and valuation skillsExcellent communication skills (written/verbal/presentation) along with high level of curiosity, strong discipline, and attention to detailAbility to integrate rapidly and to work effectively in a global team of professionalsAbility to manage multiple responsibilities in a dynamic, demanding environment with time-sensitive deliverables and high degree of quality and accuracyA result-oriented individual, be self-motivated, driven, and proactive requiring minimal supervision, work well independently and with a group, and be comfortable working with business executivesMust also demonstrate proficiency in the use of Ms Word, Ms Excel, and PowerPointOriginally posted on Himalayas
