This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute your skills to meaningful projects while gaining valuable experience in nonprofit fundraising and strategic planning. **Duties** * Conduct thorough research on grant funding opportunities aligned with the organization’s programs and goals. * Develop persuasive grant proposals, including narratives, budgets, and supporting documents, ensuring clarity and compliance with funder requirements. * Manage the entire grant submission process from initial research to final submission, including deadlines and follow\-up. * Maintain accurate records of grant applications, funding statuses, and related documentation within databases such as Raiser's Edge or similar systems. * Collaborate with program staff to gather content, develop compelling case statements, and ensure proposals accurately reflect organizational needs and impact. * Assist in contract management by reviewing terms, tracking deliverables, and ensuring compliance with funder stipulations. * Proofread and edit proposal content for clarity, accuracy, and persuasive impact while maintaining high\-quality technical writing standards. **Qualifications** * Proven experience in grant proposal writing, grant management, or fundraising within nonprofit or community organizations. * Familiarity with databases such as Raiser's Edge or equivalent CRM systems for tracking grants and donor information. * Strong understanding of contracts, contract management processes, and compliance requirements related to grants. * Excellent research skills to identify new funding opportunities from foundations, government agencies, and other sources. * Exceptional writing skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives that persuade funders and clearly communicate organizational needs. * Demonstrated organizational skills to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. * Experience with financial report writing, budgeting for grants, and program development is highly desirable.
