Magazine Diversity Award WinnerWest Michigan's 101 Best & Brightest Companies to Work ForCrain's Cool Places to WorkOakland Parenting Awareness Coalitions' Family Friendly Employer of the YearQualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Social Work and fully licensed with an LBSWHave one (1) years of responsible full-time working in behavioral health, substance use disorders or related.Excellent customer service skills.Experience with SalesForce a plus.Must possess a knowledge and understanding of intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental health, physical health, and/or substance use disorders.Duties and Responsibilities:Responsible for answering inbound calls, website chat, and general emails, assisting individuals who have general questions, particular inquiries about Easterseals MORC programs and services, or who are in need of community resources or referrals.Documents calls using the Customer Referral Management System (CRM) and Electronic Medical Record.Responsible for thorough understanding of program services, eligibility criteria, required timeframes, and follows program referral process flows.Determines the nature of the call from the general public, completes screenings for individuals (adults or children) needing services and coordinating intakes for services. This includes gathering demographic/insurance information, presenting problems, risk, other necessary information as indicated in screening form.Determines if incoming requests for services are urgent, emergent, or routine and makes referrals for services following appropriate corresponding timelines.Receive calls and requests for other programs, schedule appointments, mails or emails information/forms, as assigned.Manage and resolve or direct customer complaints. Identifies and escalates priority issues to the appropriate parties as needed.Ability to type documentation into CRM and/or electronic medical record while concurrently speaking with the individual seeking services.Originally posted on Himalayas
