Looking for bookkeeper

**Remote Bookkeeper (QuickBooks Online): $500/mo \+ $1,100 Cleanup** *1099 Contract · 1–3 hrs/week · Fully Remote* Spotless Dumpster Rental is a roll\-off dumpster company in Happy Valley, OR. We need an independent, experienced bookkeeper to clean up our books and keep them current. You’ll work on your own schedule with minimal oversight. **Phase 1: Cleanup \& Setup (complete by November 15\)** * Set up QuickBooks Online * Categorize and reconcile all transactions from April 2026 to present (\~150/month) * Reconcile 1 business checking account and 2 credit cards * Match card\-processor deposits and CRM invoices to bank activity **Ongoing (1–3 hrs/week)** * Categorize and reconcile weekly transactions (most are recurring and repetitive) * Run payroll for 1 W\-2 employee (bi\-weekly) * Deliver a monthly P\&L * Coordinate directly with our CPA on year\-end and tax filings * Advise on tax planning, deductions, and compliance (business is transitioning to S\-corp status) **Requirements** * Strong QuickBooks Online experience * Payroll processing experience * Tax knowledge; EA, CPA, or tax\-prep background strongly preferred * Self\-directed. You find the problems, fix them, and tell us what you did. * Reliable communication and on\-time deliverables **Nice to have** * Experience with trucking, waste, or field\-service businesses * Familiarity with merchant processor reconciliation (CardPointe) **Compensation:** $500/month flat for ongoing bookkeeping and payroll, plus a separate $1,100 flat fee for the April–present cleanup and QuickBooks setup. **To apply:** Send your relevant experience and confirm that you can finish the cleanup by November 15\.
