**Work Location / Remote Policy:** Primarily in\-office; remote work negotiable
**Pay Range:** $32\.00 $35\.00/hour, DOE
**Pay Basis:** Hourly
**Target Compensation:** $33\.65/hour (approximately $70,000/year at 2,080 hours per year)
**Employment Type:** Full\-Time
**Experience Required:** 5\+ years of full\-charge bookkeeping / accounting experience

**Duties / Responsibilities**
* Manage the full bookkeeping cycle for multiple client engagements, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank/credit card reconciliations.
* Prepare and post journal entries and maintain accurate general ledgers across multiple client entities.
* Process full\-cycle payroll for clients, including payroll tax deposits and quarterly/annual payroll tax filings.
* Prepare and file sales and use tax returns for clients across various jurisdictions.
* Maintain and troubleshoot client accounting files in both QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop.
* Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year\-end financial statements and supporting schedules for client and firm review.
* Assist with 1099 preparation and other required informational filings.
* Communicate directly with clients to gather information, resolve discrepancies, and respond to bookkeeping\-related questions.
* Collaborate with CPAs and engagement teams to ensure client books are accurate, current, and ready for tax and financial statement engagements.
* Identify and flag workflow or process improvements to enhance efficiency across client engagements.
**Requirements / Qualifications**
* Minimum of 5 years of full\-charge bookkeeping or accounting experience.
* Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop required.
* Hands\-on experience processing payroll, including payroll tax compliance and filings.
* Experience preparing and filing sales and use tax returns.
* Experience working with multiple clients or entities simultaneously; public accounting/CPA firm experience a plus.
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills for direct client interaction.
* Ability to manage competing deadlines across multiple engagements.
* Primarily in\-office at Integra's Bakersfield location; some remote work may be negotiable depending on experience and role fit.
