Senior ElasticPath Engineer

InnovationTeam is looking for a Senior Elastic Path Engineer to join our dynamic and innovative team. In this role, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of Elastic Path e-commerce solutions for our clients. You will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to deliver scalable and high-performing e-commerce platforms tailored to client needs.Key Responsibilities:Lead the development and implementation of Elastic Path solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices.Design and customize Elastic Path commerce modules including product catalog, promotions, orders, and customer management.Integrate Elastic Path with various systems such as CRM, ERP, payment gateways, and third-party APIs.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, developers, QA, and business analysts to deliver end-to-end e-commerce solutions.Ensure performance optimization, security compliance, and scalability of the Elastic Path platform.Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and consultants.Prepare technical documentation and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in e-commerce technologies and Elastic Path advancements.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Minimum 5 years of experience in software development with at least 3 years hands-on experience with Elastic Path platform.Strong knowledge of Elastic Path Commerce architecture, APIs, and extension frameworks.Proficiency in Java development and web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript.Experience integrating Elastic Path with other enterprise systems such as CRM, ERP, or payment gateways.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to lead technical discussions and mentor junior team members.Strong customer focus and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Originally posted on Himalayas
