Bookkeeper and Payroll Specialist

We are looking for a part\-time 20\+ hours remote Payroll Specialist/ Bookkeeper. **Payroll Responsibilities:** * Processing and setting up payroll and time tracking in multiple apps * Calculating timecards per job, overtime, breaks * Processing payrolls and submitting payroll taxes for multiple clients. * Preparing and reconciling quarterly and annual payroll tax returns. * Calculating and setting up paid time off accruals * Calculating health insurance contributions, 401k contributions and employer contributions **Bookkeeping Responsibilities:** * Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process through account reconciliation. * Verify that transactions are recorded correctly to the Trial Balance Stage. * Process accounts receivable/payable and enter payroll in a timely manner. * Review Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss Statement and Statement of Cash Flows for accuracy. **Skills:** * Proven GAAP bookkeeping experience and Electronic Audit Evidence procedures. * Solid understanding of Debit/Credits and accounting payable/receivable principles and cycles. * Proven ability to calculate, and reference source documents for accounting figures. * Hands\-on experience with spreadsheets: creating sums, sorting by date, amount, pivot tables, changing file types and more. * High degree of accuracy and attention to detail. * AS or BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration * Property Management and Point of Sale experience is ideal. * Communicate work scheduling and time management. * Experience working with multiple clients in multiple industries is ideal.
