**Organization:** The Interfaith Families Project (IFFP) **Location:** Hybrid (Remote / Rockville, MD) **Position Type:** Part\-Time (30 hours/week) **Hiring Range:** $50,000 – $60,000 **About IFFP** The Interfaith Families Project (IFFP) seeks to develop our children, ourselves, and our community through opportunities for education about Christianity and Judaism, holiday celebrations, fellowship, spiritual gatherings, community service, and exploration of interfaith identity in an environment that encourages questions and respects different answers. We are an independent, member\-driven community of approximately 100 interfaith families. For over three decades, we have been a pioneer in interfaith education, providing a welcoming “big tent” where Jewish and Christian traditions are celebrated with accuracy, respect, and balance. Grounded in shared values of compassion, justice, and community, IFFP is a unique space for learning, gathering, and dialogue. We are seeking a Director of Operations who doesn’t just manage our operations, but actively cares about nurturing our community. #### **Position Overview** IFFP is seeking an energetic, highly organized, and collaborative **Director of Operations**. Joining a dedicated team of three other part\-time paid staff, the Director of Operations is the administrative core of our community, ensuring smooth systems and workflows, vibrant communications, and seamless programmatic execution. An equally essential requirement for this position is a deep understanding and dedication to IFFP’s unique mission. This is a salaried, **hybrid position** requiring an average of 30 hours per week. While much of the administrative work can be done remotely during the week, the Director of Operations **must be on\-site in Rockville, MD (**we operate from St. Mark’s Presbyterian Church at 10701 Old Georgetown Road**), three Sunday mornings per month (approx. 8:45 AM – 1:00 PM)** during the school year to facilitate logistics for our weekly Gatherings as well as key holidays, including Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, and Easter mornings, plus Christmas Eve. Some virtual evening hours are also required (e.g., monthly Board meetings). #### **Core Responsibilities** **1\. On\-Site Sunday Hands\-On Execution \& Program Support (10 hours/week)** This is not a traditional desk\-only administrative job. Sundays at IFFP require a highly energetic leader who welcomes being **actively hands\-on**. You will be the first professional on\-site, moving throughout the facility to ensure the day runs smoothly. * **Physical Setup \& Breakdown:** You will be responsible for ensuring the set\-up of our space before members arrive (arranging tables, moving signage, organizing name tags, and coordinating materials) and helping to clean up once the Gathering concludes. * **Hands\-on Sunday Coordination:** Coordinate volunteers, greet visitors, manage name tags, capture community photographs, and oversee and help with c
