Contact Maira Russo - Senior Talent Acquisition PartnerWhat you'll be doing:• Define and evolve the technical architecture for Caseware’s AI platform, establishing architectural standards, contracts, and design principles that enable scalable, secure, reusable, and trustworthy AI capabilities across multiple teams. • Design, build, and operate AI systems powered by LLMs, retrieval pipelines, agentic workflows, and AI-enabled services, including multi-agent systems, agent execution runtimes, workflow orchestration, memory management, and human-inthe-loop AI capabilities. • Design and implement evaluation, governance, auditability, and traceability frameworks that ensure AI systems are measurable, explainable, compliant, and continuously improving. • Translate advances in AI into practical, maintainable platform capabilities that solve real customer problems. • Influence technical direction through architecture reviews, RFCs, design discussions, and hands-on collaboration. • Evaluate emerging AI technologies, models, frameworks, and cloud capabilities. • Lead proof-of-concepts that inform platform strategy and future investments. • Balance delivery speed, quality, maintainability, and long-term platform health when making technical decisions. • Drive reliability, observability, monitoring, alerting, and incident response practices across AI systems and platforms. • Ensure systems are resilient, scalable, cost-effective, and operationally efficient in production environments. • Partner closely with Product, QA, Security, Domain SMEs, and Engineering teams to deliver business value. • Act as a trusted technical leader, helping teams succeed through collaboration, influence, and shared ownership. • Mentor engineers across teams and contribute to raising overall engineering maturity.What you'll bring:• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, with demonstrated impact beyond a single team • 2+ years building and operating production AI systems. • Proven experience designing distributed, SaaS, cloud-native, multi-tenant platforms at scale. • Proven experience designing distributed, SaaS, cloud-native, multi-tenant platforms at scale. • Experience implementing AI guardrails, governance controls, and safety mechanisms. • Strong understanding of AI system tradeoffs including latency, cost, accuracy, reliability, and scalability. • Extensive experience building and operating production systems on AWS. • Experience with Infrastructure as Code using CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform. • Experience mentoring engineers and influencing architectural decisions across teams. • Strong English language communication and collaboration skills. • Comfortable operating in fast-moving environments with ambiguity and evolving requirements.Nice to Have• Experience operating systems in regulated or compliance-heavy domains. • Familiarity with accounting, auditing, or financial workflows.Tech stack you’ll be working with:• Backend & Platform: TypeScript, NestJS, Python • Cloud & Infrastructure: AWS EKS, AWS Lambda, AWS Bedrock, AWS AgentCore • Search & Retrieval: AWS OpenSearch Serverless • Document & Data Processing: AWS Textract, DynamoDB, S3 • AI Evaluation & Observability: LangFuse, LangSmith (or equivalent) • AI-Assisted Development: GitHub Copilot, AWS Kiro • Developer Tooling: GitHub, GitHub Actions, Nx Monorepo • Collaboration: Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Teams, OutlookPerks & Benefits¨Contrato a termino Indefinido¨ with all the legal benefitsPrepaid MedicineLife insurance and funeral assistanceInternet allowanceHome office stipendCompetitive compensation — above the market average100% remote work environment and an excellent work-life balanceOpportunity to work for a growing global SaaS leader companyA culture that promotes independence, innovation, trust, and accountabilityOpen space to be creative, innovative and strategize for the futureMentorship by highly experienced professional Budget for training, we want you to grow5 Personal Time Off days per yearSick Leave Top up to total 100% of salary paid by the employer from Day 3 to 90.
