Armanino India LLP is a fully owned subsidiary of Armanino (USA).ResponsibilitiesManage and deliver multistate income and franchise tax compliance and consulting engagementsServe as a primary point of contact for clients on assigned engagements, ensuring timely communication and high quality serviceCoordinate state income and franchise tax return preparation and review processesSupport state tax planning initiatives for corporations, partnerships, and individualsAssist with state tax controversy matters, including audits, notices, and appealsPerform and review apportionment and revenue sourcing analyses for income and franchise taxesConduct multistate technical tax research to support filing positions, planning opportunities, and client adviceMonitor and apply state and local tax legislative developments affecting income and franchise taxPrepare and review technical memorandums, client correspondence, and internal guidanceSupport tax provision and accrual processes related to state income and franchise taxIdentify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and consistency in SALT compliance and consulting processesAssist in the development and implementation of tools, templates, and technology-enabled solutionsSupport tax engine implementation, optimization, and training efforts as applicableContribute to internal knowledge sharing and thought leadership initiatives related to income and franchise taxManage, develop, and mentor SALT professionals by providing coaching, feedback, and growth opportunitiesReview work product and provide constructive feedback to ensure quality and growthAssist in engagement planning, budgeting, and workflow managementFoster a collaborative, client-focused, and growth-oriented team cultureRequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldQualified to practice before the IRS (i.e. Licensed Attorney, CPA, or EA)Minimum of 5 years of State and Local Tax experience with primary focus on income and franchise taxMinimum of 1 years in a managerial role involving clients and team membersMaster’s Degree in Accounting, Taxation, or Juris DoctorPublic accounting experience, preferably with a Big 4 or national firmFamiliarity with Power BI, Alteryx, OneSource, GoSystems, or comparable tax technology platformsCompensation and BenefitsCompensation: Commensurate with Industry standards Other Benefits: Provident Fund, Gratuity, Medical Insurance, Group Personal Accident Insurance etc. employment benefits depending on the position."Armanino” is the brand name under which Armanino LLP, Armanino CPA LLP, and Armanino Advisory LLC, independently owned entities, provide professional services in an alternative practice structure in accordance with law, regulations, and professional standards.
