Job Description

**Position Overview:** We are seeking **motivated, high\-scoring SAT tutors** to join our growing team. You will work closely with students (individually or in small groups) to teach SAT content, build test\-taking strategies, and support students with assignments between sessions. Ideal candidates are passionate educators, strong communicators, and reliable mentors who want to make a difference in students’ academic journeys. **Key Responsibilities:** * Teach live, small\-group SAT classes and/or 1\-on\-1 sessions following Tutorly’s proven curriculum * Review and explain practice problems, homework, and full\-length SAT exams * Provide students with test\-taking strategies, time management tips, and mindset coaching * Use Zoom, Google Drive, and our internal platform to track student progress and assignments * Respond to student questions via chat/email in a timely manner (typically within 24 hours) * Collaborate with other tutors and staff to ensure consistency and high\-quality instruction * Attend occasional team meetings or training sessions **Qualifications:** * **SAT score of 1500\+** (with 750\+ in your area of expertise: Math or Reading/Writing) * Prior tutoring or teaching experience preferred, but not required * Strong communication skills and patience working with teens * Ability to commit to a consistent weekly schedule during the 9\-week program * Organized, dependable, and comfortable using online tools for teaching * Passionate about education and helping students succeed **Perks:** * Flexible hours and remote options * Competitive pay with opportunities for raises and bonuses * Leadership and growth opportunities within the company * Work directly with a mission\-driven team that's transforming SAT prep Job Type: Contract Pay: $25\.00 \- $45\.00 per hour Benefits: * Flexible schedule * Paid training Application Question(s): * Have you taken the SAT before? * If so how long ago have you taken your SAT? * What was your score?
