Depending on the scope of work defined in the client contract, this may involve supporting corporate travel strategies, conducting sourcing activities, and/or ensuring that the travel program is coordinated with the program objectives. This position will have a thorough understanding of one or more segments of the corporate travel industry.As an Outsourced Travel Manager, you willSupport a client program, which includes identifying program goals and outlining strategies to achieve objectivesAssist with the optimization of key targets and integrate travel services within the program portfolioIdentify travel technology products, developing market intelligence and benchmarking platformsServe as liaison among clients, travelers, and suppliers by listening, problem-solving, and communicating both verbally and writtenMaintain relationships with key stakeholders across various levels of organization Organize, prepare, and participate in client events and training seminars About youPrevious travel industry experience in account management or management roleThorough knowledge of at least one segment of the corporate travel industry Prior experience with GDS AmadeusExperience working in cross-functional work teams Experience working with a large market and/or global clientsEffective communication skills (oral, written & presentation) in English and GermanWhat we offer youAt BCD Travel, we work with highly motivated and passionate people.
