Job DescriptionWe have an opportunity for a Senior ServiceNow Developer to join our talented Professional Services team. The successful candidate will serve as the key technical resource leading the configuration, development, support, and maintenance of the ServiceNow implementation. The successful candidate will have fluency in ServiceNow design and development principles that enables them to work with external development partners and key stakeholders to develop enterprise business solutions for our customers that with a specific focus on IT Portfolio Management and GRC compliance. This is a fully remote job. ResponsibilitiesProven experience as a key technical resource leading the design and development of solutions in client environments. Prepare and present client-facing and internal deliverables that are technology-related Serve as the Senior ServiceNow application developer responsible for implementing solution design using best practices Overall responsibility for analyzing and documenting business processes and systems Collaborate with System Administrators and ServiceNow Support concerning strategies and technical aspects of platform upgrades Design and develop solutions within the ServiceNow environment to include new or modifications to applications, forms, workflows, policies, actions, access controls, interfaces, and any other configurations required to support client processes Perform hands-on technical development work based on assigned user stories; create ATFs and conduct unit testing for each story assigned Develop JavaScript server/client code as needed Create and use update sets to move customer configurations between environments Create and maintain API and data integration processes between ServiceNow and other applications Provide advanced support for ServiceNow by troubleshooting a variety of difficult software problems, implementing bug fixes, and performing root cause analysis Build visualizations, dashboards, and portal pages Troubleshoot and resolve issues during configuration, testing, and release Assist in troubleshooting patch / release management issues Ensure environments are configured to the proper security standard, as well as configured for performance and high availability QualificationsRequiredBS/BA in a related field (Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Business Management preferred) ServiceNow Application Developer and/or an Implementation Specialist Certification ServiceNow Administrator Certification Minimum of four (4) years of direct development experience with the ServiceNow platform In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow administration and development, security, data management, and integrations Demonstrated expertise with ServiceNow APIs and integration Demonstrated experience developing solutions consistent with architectural standards and ServiceNow best practices Must be eligible to meet government eligibility requirements Must currently maintain secret clearance PreferredHighly preferred: experience in SPM, GRC, EA, Proven Optics (PO) applications, and custom applications Three (3) years of experience with core JavaScript development Previous experience configuring and customizing aspects of ServiceNow including but not limited to - UI Actions, UI Policies, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, Notifications & Notification Scripts, both inbound and outbound integrations including Integration Hub, REST Message V2 and the REST API Explorer, ACLs to name a few Understanding and experience related to advanced ServiceNow development, including the following: Service Portal Development Experience, including the development of custom widgets Database Views, custom relationships Update Set Migration including the creation of update sets, update set batching, creating and maintaining deployment plans, and migrating update sets between instances Flow Designer, including the development of custom actions Development of Data Sources & Transform Maps ATF Development, including the use of Jasmine tests Experience with AI assisted development Federal Consulting Industry Experience Preferred About UsPerks of working at NetImpact StrategiesYour health comes first – we offer comprehensive medical, dental, & vision insurance that starts the first of the month after you join the teamInvest in your future – 401(k) Plan – Immediately vested employer contributions; no matching requiredWork hard, play hard – we offer a generous Paid Time Off (PTO) policy and observe ALL ten (10) federal holidaysPawsitively pawesome – Pet Insurance (because our little critters are part of our families, too!)Invest in your education – Tuition reimbursement, internal training programs, & company-sponsored industry certificationsBe part of a dynamic and collaborative work environment recently ranked by The Washington Post as a Top Work Place in 2019, 2021,2022, & 2023!Have fun and celebrate and give back – Team building activities, community volunteering, quarterly HQ days, & an offs
