Virtual Assistant (Flex)

### **Basics** **Type:** Independent Contractor **Schedule:** Flex\-Time (5\-15 hours/week) **Education:** Any **Work Experience**: Any **Location:** Remote Motu Novu seeks a virtual assistant fluent in American English who will work remotely as an independent contractor to support the firm’s partners in several day\-to\-day activities, as well as perform certain marketing and business development duties. Occasional, optional international travel to the EU and to the USA. ### **What You Do** * Develop a comprehensive understanding of working in an international, distributed professional services firm. * Develop a comprehensive understanding of Motu Novu’s service offering and client base. * Develop a comprehensive understanding of administrative operations, compliance, accounting, HR, and finance. * Provide personal and operational support to the firm’s partners. * Help manage the inbound and outbound documentation flows. * Research markets, products, consumer behavior, and competitors. * Assist in the planning, development, and deployment of new physical goods e\-commerce stores. * Perform operational marketing tasks. * Provide pre\- and post\-sale e\-commerce customer support via email, ticket, chat, and telephone. ### **What You Need** * Confident, poised, and outgoing personality, in both internal and external interactions. * Exceptional written and oral communications skills in (American) English. * Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality. * Demonstrated willingness to study, learn, and carry out tasks in a dependable manner. * Proficiency with office productivity tools. * Bona\-fide setup as an independent contractor. * Optionally, familiarity with the GNU/Linux operating system (any distro.) * Optionally, working knowledge of Shopify, MailChimp, Stamps.com, and/or other related tools. * Successful completion of background check. ### **What You Get** * **Base Compensation:** $9\-$15/hour, depending on qualifications and experience. * **Benefits:** Discretionary yearly performance bonus. * **Growth Opportunities:** Opportunity to work on a wide range of assignments to fully develop your career.
