This role focuses on addressing acritical audit finding related to MQ security on mainframe systems, ensuring robust access controls and security patterns are implemented ahead of a strict remediation deadline.The successful candidate will bring deep expertise inmainframe security, MQ environments, and Broadcom Top Secret, along with the ability to collaborate with other senior engineers and SMEs.Key Responsibilities: Lead remediation ofMQ security vulnerabilitieswithin a mainframe environment. Design and implementsecure access control frameworksusing Broad-com Top Secret. Define and documentsecurity patterns and controlsacross: Batch processing environments CICS transactions User access and permissions Third-party integrations Collaborate withmainframe and MQ engineers/SMEsto ensure best-practice security implementation Provide expert input on mainframe securityarchitecture and governance Ensure all remediation activities are completedwithin audit timelines (before September deadline) Produce clear documentation ofsecurity configurations, standards, and patterns RequirementsRequired Skills: ​ Advanced expertise inMQ on Mainframe (z/OS) Strong hands-on experience withBroadcom Top Secret Deep understanding ofmainframe security architecture and access control models Experience applyingDevOps practices within mainframe environments Solid knowledge of: CICS security Batch job security controls User authentication and authorization frameworks Third-party tool security integration Experience withaudit remediation and compliance requirements Ability to define and implementscalable security patterns and standards Qualifications & Experience: Minimum 10 years’ experiencein mainframe environments Proven track record inmainframe security and MQ environments Experience working infinancial services or highly regulated industries(preferred) Demonstrated involvement insecurity audits and remediation initiatives Relevant certifications inmainframe technologies or security(advantageous) DetailsOriginally posted on Himalayas
