In this highly visible role, you will partner closely with legal colleagues and cross\-functional stakeholders to provide strategic, business\-focused legal guidance on a wide range of commercial matters. Based in Beloit, Wisconsin **(hybrid preferred, remote considered)**, this role offers the chance to make meaningful impact while working alongside a collaborative and forward\-thinking legal team.**Key responsibilities** ------------------------ * Draft and negotiate commercial agreements including, but not limited to, supply and customer agreements, vendor agreements and co\-manufacturing agreements. * Analyse commercial contract provisions and provide the business team with updates, risk assessments and applicable legal guidance. * Prepare and coordinate responses to customers, vendors and other third parties regarding contractual matters. * Monitor and keep up to date on the latest developments in food\-related laws and regulations. **Qualifications and skills** ----------------------------- * Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. * Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction. * Minimum of 5\-10 years in\-house or large law firm corporate experience. * Strong background with complex commercial contracts. * Demonstrated interest in growing experience in commercial areas. * Ability to adapt and respond to unpredictable, fast\-paced workflows and manage multiple projects at once while prioritizing appropriately. * Significant attention to detail and ability to interact successfully with business and legal teams, customers and other third parties. * Experience with food \& beverage, food safety, chemicals or regulatory matters preferred. * Excellent written and oral communication skills, superior analytical skills and the ability to manage client (internal and external) relationships. *The pay range for this position is $146,800\.00 \- $261,000\.00 in Annual Salary.
