About the RoleWe are looking for detail-oriented Quality Control (QC) Specialist to support an AI data annotation project. In this role, you will review the work submitted by Trainers — pre-seeded questions paired with images and their corresponding "golden" answers — to confirm accuracy, consistency, and adherence to project guidelines.This is a task-based, remote-friendly opportunity ideal for individuals who are highly meticulous, observant, and skilled at spotting errors or inconsistencies that others may miss.What You'll DoReview completed tasks submitted by Trainers, including the original question, the image, and the golden answer providedIndependently verify whether the golden answer is correct based on the imageIdentify and flag incorrect, incomplete, ambiguous, or inconsistent answersaProvide clear, constructive feedback or corrections to help maintain overall data qualityTrack recurring error patterns and report them to the project teamEnsure Trainer output meets the project's quality bar before final sign-offEscalate unclear cases (e.g., illegible images, ambiguous questions) to the project team for resolutionWhat We're Looking ForNative/Strong proficiency at PortugueseBachelor's degree required Excellent attention to detail and a strong quality mindsetGood visual observation and reading comprehension skillsAbility to apply guidelines/rubrics consistently and objectivelyStrong written English communication skills, especially for giving feedbackPrior experience in quality assurance, quality control, editing, proofreading, or data review is a plusReliable access to a computer and internet connectionWork Format & Compensation Work Type: freelance, remote Hours/Schedule: 10 hours per week Compensation: $36/hr Duration: Long-term Why Join Welo Data? ✨ Limitless Flexibility  Project-based opportunities that fit your availability.
