Acts as a technical authority on architecture decisions, integration patterns, and engineering best practices within the ORCA program. **LOCATION** This role is 100% remote. * **DUTIES \& RESPONSIBILITIES** * Architect and implement end\-to\-end automation solutions * Define integration standards, data flow patterns, and reusable framework components * Design and maintain the data lake architecture for centralized automation telemetry and * reporting * Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, design sessions, and knowledge transfer Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend platform improvements to enhance capability and scale * **MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS** * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, or related field or equivalent combination of extensive experience and education * 5\-7\+ years in software engineering, DevOps, or automation engineering, with at least 2 years in a security or infrastructure domain * Demonstrated experience designing and delivering production automation platforms or data pipelines at enterprise scale * Track record of mentoring junior engineers and influencing technical direction * Experience integrating across multiple enterprise systems (ITSM, identity, vulnerability management, threat intel) * Python (advanced: library design, async patterns, packaging, CI/CD integration) * REST API architecture (designing, versioning, auth patterns: OAuth 2\.0, Managed Identity, API keys) * Automation orchestration platforms (Apache Airflow, Prefect, Dagster, or equivalent) * Data pipeline and data lake design (schema evolution, partitioning, storage optimization) * AI/LLM integration (agent architectures, tool\-calling patterns, multi\-model orchestration, prompt engineering) * Container orchestration (Kubernetes/AKS: deployments, Helm charts, troubleshooting, resource management) * Linux administration (RHEL: systemd, networking, security hardening, performance tuning) * Infrastructure as Code (Bicep, Terraform, or ARM templates) * Git workflows (bra
