Building/tuning bikes, Hydraulic-Brakes, Suspension, Wheel-Truing etc. Manage scheduleWeekend and evening events are mainstay of the scheduleLove of travel and van lifeMotivated flexibility to roll to the needs of the regionRole and Responsibilities: Partner with Business Development Managers (BDMs) and SalesAlign demo/experience plans to revenue targets and sell-through goalsSupport sales pipeline by creating demand with rider activationsParticipate in retailer business reviews and territory planningShare field insights and product feedback to influence assortment decisionsTime allocation: 20–25%Retail Education and EnablementDeliver structured retail training programs on product, selling, and customer experienceLaunch and onboard retailers to run premium demo programsTeach staff how to convert demo riders to bike and equipment salesFacilitate training on Specialized tools (Ride App, Ecosystem, SMB, RM)Reinforce merchandising standards that align with premium brand experienceTime allocation: 15–20%Field Activation and Rider Experience ExecutionPlan and execute retailer ride experiences, demo days, regional activations and brand eventsDevelop activation calendars based on retail priorities and NPI launchesOrganize event logistics, registration, safety planning, land access, and complianceManage demo fleet deploymentElectric training, Call to Recycle knowledge and training, tech education and training, warranty education and training, rider facing feedbackRepresent the brand at rides, races, community engagements, and consumer eventsTime allocation: 45–55%Community and Partner CollaborationBuild community influence through partnerships with local ride groups, trail orgs, and ambassadorsSupport retailer community-building efforts that drive rider engagement and loyaltySupport local media and content opportunities by working with marketing and comms teamsTime allocation: 5–10%Data, Reporting, and KPI ManagementTrack demo participation, rider journey, follow-up, and retail conversionReport fleet utilization, asset condition, and maintenance planningProvide monthly business dashboards to Sales and BX leadershipMaintain rider opt-in database growth through event participationCross-Functional CollaborationAlign with Sales, Marketing, Logistics, Service, Product, and Experience Center teamsRepresent field insights for GTM (go-to-market), product launches, and retail programsShare competitive insights based on market feedbackTime allocation: 10%Required Qualifications:Bicycle Retail Mechanic or Team MechanicField Marketing and consumer demo workClean driving recordFluency in Microsoft Office programs About Specialized:First and foremost, we are riders.
