Accounting & Tax Manager

Our firm is growing steadily and we're looking for an Accounting \& Tax Manager to grow with. We offer a flexible schedule with 50% remote, 50% in office time out of our Londonderry location. We have a history of growth in each of our 27 years of business and now we are looking for an exceptional person to fill a new position. We use a systematic approach to partner with our clients where we provide a package of services which includes monthly accounting, tax planning and preparation, payroll and business advice. In essence, we help small business owners be better organized, helping them grow and be more profitable while helping them save on taxes. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Review monthly financial statements * Build client relationships and communicate with monthly calls/emails * Supervise bookkeepers in monthly production * Prepare business and individual tax returns \- 1065, 1120, 1120S, 1040 * Provide tax planning and do tax estimates * Assist with new client onboarding \- review prior return, update chart of accounts QUALIFICATIONS: * \+1 year experience with Quickbooks online * \+2 years experience preparing tax returns * Comfortable working with small business owners and building relationships * Evidence of supervisory ability * Bachelors Degree or equivalent (Accounting emphasis is helpful, but not required) * Enjoys numbers and is technologically savvy with computers * Enrolled Agent or CPA helpful, but will train the right person COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: * Salary and production pay * First year comp is $80\-110k, second year $110\-140k * Group health insurance plan * Retirement Match with 401k * Paid Time Off * Flexible schedule **We require a 3 minute video interview submission if you're invited to the next round.
