Medical Transcriptionist

**Job Summary** We are seeking a detail\-oriented and skilled Medical Transcriptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately transcribing medical notes dictated by healthcare professionals. **Responsibilities** * Transcribe audio recordings from healthcare providers into written documents with high accuracy. * Ensure that all transcriptions are completed in a timely manner while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations. * Review and edit transcriptions for clarity, grammar, and accuracy. * Utilize knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology to interpret dictations correctly. * Maintain organized records of all transcribed documents for easy retrieval. * Collaborate with medical staff to clarify any unclear dictations or terminology as needed. **Requirements** * Proficient understanding of medical terminology. * Strong typing skills with a high level of accuracy. * Previous experience in a medical office setting is preferred but not mandatory. * Excellent listening skills and attention to detail. * Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines. * Familiarity with transcription software and equipment is an advantage.
