Telehealth Occupational Therapist

**Job Overview** We are seeking a dedicated Remote Telehealth Occupational Therapist to join our team and support students in a Minnesota school district. In this vital role, you will provide virtual occupational therapy services, enhance students' quality of life, and assist them in developing, recovering, and improving the skills necessary for academic success. Your expertise will be essential in delivering tailored interventions that promote independence and overall well\-being. **What You’ll Do** * Conduct comprehensive assessments of students’ needs to develop personalized care plans addressing their unique challenges and IEP goals. * Write and review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other specialists, ensuring that each student receives the appropriate support. * Supervise and collaborate with Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) to deliver high\-quality OT services. * Implement early intervention strategies to support pediatric clients in achieving developmental milestones and academic success. * Utilize your knowledge of anatomy and physiology to inform targeted treatment approaches for each student’s condition. * Conduct ongoing case management activities, monitoring progress and adjusting care plans as necessary. * Educate students, families, and school staff on therapeutic options, exercises, and strategies to maximize student outcomes. **Basic Qualifications** * Valid Occupational Therapy license in Minnesota. * Strong understanding of medical terminology related to occupational therapy practices. * Experience working with pediatric populations in educational settings, preferably with IEPs. **Preferred Qualifications** * Background in pediatrics, particularly within school settings, focusing on student\-centered care. * Familiarity with best practices in telehealth service delivery. * Experience supervising COTAs or interdisciplinary teams is a plus. * Knowledge of developmental disabilities and autism spectrum disorders. **Why you’ll love it here** We are dedicated to fostering an environment where our employees can thrive both professionally and personally.
