**Entry\-Level Tax Preparer** We are seeking a motivated and detail\-oriented Entry\-Level Tax Preparer to join our team. In this role, you will assist clients in preparing and filing accurate and timely tax returns while providing excellent customer service. This is a great opportunity for someone starting their career in tax preparation and looking to grow in the financial services industry. Key Responsibilities * Prepare federal and state individual income tax returns (Form 1040 and related schedules) * Gather, review, and organize client tax documents * Conduct client interviews (in person, by phone, or virtually) to ensure complete and accurate information * Verify data input and resolve basic errors or discrepancies * Maintain client confidentiality and comply with data security protocols * Stay current on tax laws and updates through ongoing training * Provide excellent customer service and answer basic client tax questions * Support senior tax professionals with research or clerical tasks as needed Qualifications * High school diploma or equivalent * Completion of a tax preparation course or willingness to complete company\-provided training * Basic understanding of IRS rules and forms * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Excellent communication and customer service skills * Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with tax software (e.g., Drake, TaxSlayer, ProSeries) is a plus * Ability to work flexible hours during tax season Preferred Qualifications * PTIN (Preparer Tax Identification Number) from the IRS (can be obtained upon hiring) * Bilingual (English/Spanish or English/Creole) is a plus Investment Requirement To participate in our Entry\-Level Tax Preparer Program, a **$99 investment** is required upon acceptance into the program. This investment covers onboarding, training materials, software setup, and administrative processing to prepare you for the upcoming tax season. The investment is **non\-refundable** once onboarding has begun.
