Financial Data Analyst - India

The Financial Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting financial and sales data to provide actionable insights. This role works closely with finance, operations, and leadership to improve forecasting, budgeting, and overall financial performance. This is an India-based full-time remote position. The work hours are Monday- Friday, 6:00p - 3:00a - India Standard Time. Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze financial data, trends, and performance metricsAnalyze sales data including customer revenue, gross profit (GP), margins, and customer-level performanceBuild and maintain financial and sales performance models and forecastsDevelop customer profitability analysis and identify high/low performing accountsPrepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholdersIdentify opportunities for cost savings, pricing optimization, and revenue growthSupport budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processesEnsure data accuracy and integrity across financial and sales systemsCollaborate with sales, finance, and operations teams to support business initiativesQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field2+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or sales/data analyticsStrong proficiency in Excel and financial modelingExperience analyzing sales metrics such as revenue, margins, and customer profitabilityExperience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker)Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skillsExcellent English communication and presentation abilitiesPreferred QualificationsKnowledge of ERP or CRM systems Experience with pricing analysis or sales performance analyticsAdvanced statistical or forecasting techniquesEmployment decisions at Future Tech Enterprise, Inc. will be based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
