Bookkeeper

**Overview** We are seeking a detail\-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper to join our dynamic finance team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your accounting skills in a collaborative environment committed to excellence and growth. **Duties** * Manage and record all financial transactions using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, and other financial systems * Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data * Process payroll accurately and efficiently, including tax filings and compliance with payroll regulations * Prepare journal entries, account analysis, and double\-entry bookkeeping to maintain the integrity of financial records * Handle accounts payable and receivable functions, including invoice processing, bill payments, and collections * Assist with budgeting activities and support financial report writing for internal and external stakeholders * Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and governmental accounting standards where applicable **Qualifications** * Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role with strong knowledge of accounting principles and concepts * Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks Online, Xero, Sage, Quicken, or similar platforms * Demonstrated ability in account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and general ledger accounting * Familiarity with payroll processing, tax experience, and governmental accounting requirements is preferred * Strong understanding of debits \& credits, journal entries, account analysis, and double\-entry bookkeeping systems * Excellent attention to detail with the ability to perform 10\-key typing quickly and accurately * Effective communication skills for preparing financial reports and collaborating with team members Join us to leverage your accounting expertise in a vibrant environment that values precision, transparency, and continuous improvement.
