Join our team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight! -We are seeking an Infrastructure Leader to establish and maintain the design infrastructure for our revolutionary space-based communications network. The ideal candidate brings expertise in EDA tools, automation, and semiconductor design flows, thriving in a fast-paced environment where innovation meets mission-critical execution.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Establish and maintain the complete "RTL-to-GDSII" design flow for ASIC developmentSelect, install, and configure EDA tools for the entire design processDevelop and maintain design databases, PDKs, and reference flowsCreate and improve automation scripts to enhance designer productivityImplement compute infrastructure for design and verification activitiesManage license servers and EDA tool access for the engineering teamSupport designers and verification engineers with CAD-related issuesCollaborate with foundry partners to integrate and validate PDKsEstablish version control and data management systems for design collateralImplement continuous integration systems for design validationDocument CAD flows and provide training to engineering teamsMonitor compute resource utilization and plan for capacity needsMinimum Qualifications:B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field10+ years of experience in CAD/EDA with 2+ years in managementExpertise with industry-standard EDA tools for digital designExperience with PDK integration and validationStrong scripting skills (Perl, Python, Tcl, or shell)Knowledge of compute infrastructure for semiconductor designExperience with version control and build systems for hardware designPreferred Qualifications:M.S. in relevant engineering disciplineExperience with advanced node technologies (7nm or below)Background in high-performance computing environmentsKnowledge of cloud-based EDA solutionsExperience with mixed-signal or RF design flowsUnderstanding of DevOps principles applied to hardware designBackground in workflow automation and continuous integrationExperience supporting large design teams across multiple projectsCompensation Range for:CA applicants is $230,773.00 - $323,081.85WA applicants is $230,773.00 - $323,081.85Other site ranges may differCulture StatementDon’t meet all desired requirements?
