Join us and spearhead the charge toward a tech future that transcends the ordinary. 🔮🌐You will be focused on leading the development of Python backend services running on AWS, managing PostgreSQL databases, architecting Kubernetes-based infrastructure, and ensuring seamless cloud-to-cloud integrations critical to the BX platform.Key ResponsibilitiesFacilitate effective communication with client project stakeholders regarding project status and technical recommendations.Lead the design and development of backend services and APIs using Python and the Pyramid framework on AWS.Architect and manage PostgreSQL schemas, queries, and performance optimizations for clinical-grade data.Build and maintain AWS infrastructure including Kubernetes (EKS), Lambda, API Gateway, and cloud-to-cloud integration patterns.Define backend coding standards, API design patterns, security best practices, and testing strategies.Mentor and guide backend engineers, driving engineering excellence across the team.Engage in agile software development including stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and estimation.Independently drive project delivery within defined architecture, demonstrating autonomy from conceptualization to deployment.Minimum QualificationsExperience/expertise in the following areas specified below:Design and implement scalable backend services and APIs using PythonArchitect PostgreSQL databases with strong skills in schema design, query optimization, and data integrityUtilize AWS services: Kubernetes (EKS), Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, S3, IAM, and cloud-to-cloud integrationsMentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and enforce engineering standards across the teamDeliver production systems with high reliability, observability, and securityMust-Have Skills & Tools: Languages: Python, javascript, SQL, REST APIOAUTH 2DockerDatabase: PostgreSQL (advanced — schema design, performance tuning, stored procedures)Cloud: AWS – Kubernetes (EKS), LambdaTools: Jira, Bitbucket/GitHub, Slack/TeamsGood to Have SkillsFramework: Pyramid (Python web framework)VsCodeTypescriptSnowflakeSQL Alchemy (ORM)6+ years of backend engineering experience, including 2+ years in a lead or tech lead role.Strong understanding of SOLID principles, OOP, and clean architecture patterns.Familiarity with OWASP security practices.English proficiency.Additional Experience DesiredExperience with clinical or healthcare data systems (HL7, FHIR, GxP, 21 CFR Part 11).Knowledge of microservices and serverless architectural patterns.Experience with Docker, container orchestration, and modern CI/CD tooling.Proficiency with unit testing, integration testing, and TDD practices.What is it like working for 3Pillar Global?At 3Pillar, we offer a world of opportunity:Imagine a flexible work environment – whether it’s the office, your home, or a blend of both.
