Onboarding & Support Specialist Remote – (AR, LA, or OK)About the RoleWe’re looking for someone who enjoys helping people succeed, communicates clearly, and thrives in a client-facing environment.This position is focused on training, onboarding, and supporting clients as they learn to confidently use our software. In this role, you’ll spend a significant portion of your time leading training sessions, guiding new clients through onboarding, and helping users understand workflows. The other half of your time will be spent responding to client questions and providing thoughtful, high-quality support. This role is about people, communication, and helping others succeed with technology - not building or fixing the technology itself.If you enjoy teaching, problem-solving, and building strong relationships, this is a great opportunity to make a real impact.What You’ll DoClient Training & Onboarding Lead virtual and in-person training sessions for new and existing clientsGuide clients through onboarding, helping them understand system setup and workflowsCreate a positive, engaging training experience that builds client confidenceDevelop and maintain training materials, guides, and resourcesRepresent DataScout at client meetings, conferences, and eventsClient Support Respond to client questions and provide timely, thoughtful supportHelp users work through challenges and better understand system functionalityDocument client interactions and track activity in internal systemsIdentify common questions or trends and help improve training and onboarding processesTeam CollaborationWork closely with internal teams to improve the overall client experienceAssist with testing new features and providing user-focused feedbackSupport other team initiatives as neededWho We’re Looking ForCore SkillsStrong communication skills - both written and verbalConfidence leading meetings, trainings, or presentationsHighly organized and detail-orientedAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentA natural problem-solver who enjoys helping othersExperienceExperience in training, onboarding, teaching, or customer-facing roles preferredExperience supporting clients or users in a professional settingAbility to quickly learn new software and explain it clearly to othersAdditional QualitiesSelf-motivated and dependableComfortable working independently in a remote environmentPositive attitude with a willingness to learn and adaptNice to Have Familiarity with GIS, mapping, or property dataExperience working with local government or public sector clientsWhat We Offer35k-40k base salary with performance-based increasesBonus opportunities based on performancePaid Time Off (PTO)Benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance Company-paid life insurance and long-term disability401(k) with company match Equal Employment OpportunityVision Government Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer and committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
