Senior Condition-based Maintenance Engineer

We are currently hiring for staffed Vibration Analysts (ISO Cat II-III certified) position for Bangalore Division. The Vibration Analysts will work directly with their customers in the performance of their primary job responsibilities. As an ISO Certified Category II/III, this position is expected to have a knowledge of rotating equipment; characteristics and causes of machinery vibration; be capable of monitoring/reporting; be able to perform basic fault diagnosis and condition evaluation.ResponsibilitiesProvide Advanced Vibration Analysis remotely by working with our internal diagnostic softwareTimely reporting of vibration analysis findings and recommendations to customer'sProvide troubleshooting support Solve equipment problems by evaluating vibration spectrum and time waveform.Seek the best technical solution by interfacing with other technical resourcesProvide support in maintaining the vibration databasesWork with plant personnel to support their development of equipment maintenance strategies related to vibration analysis monitoringProvide call out coverage (remote) whenever requiredAssist with failure analysis of rotating equipment to determine root causes of failure and help determine solutions to prevent recurrenceProvide oversight and mentoring to less experienced Vibration TechniciansQualifications RequiredMinimum of a High School Diploma / Degree equivalent4 or more years vibration discipline experience in solving machine problems using vibration analysisISO Category II / III Certification from an Accredited Certification Provider (Vibration Institute, Mobius, Technical Associates, etc.)Strong mechanical aptitude and experience working around rotating equipmentAble to work overtime as needed, including weekends / holidaysAbility to travel as requiredOriginally posted on Himalayas
