Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join our team. This individual’s primary responsibility is overseeing the sales activities related to Private Wireless business. As part of RF Connect's strategic initiatives, the Private Wireless practice will look to existing and new customers using Microsoft solutions and assist them in their transition to Cloud Services. Developing sales plans, sales activities and engaging with Microsoft and partners on business development to win deals within our customers for Cloud transformation is key to the role's success. This role reports to our EVP of Business Development. What You'll Do (responsibilities)Establish, build, and manage client relationshipsInteract with customers at the technical level, as requiredRemain current on relevant technical information by attending meetings, conferences, task forces, and eventsClient presentations and preparation of proposals and documentsAggressively close salesApply standard processes throughout the design and fulfillment of wireless solutionsPerform a variety of activities and functions to support the company and help broaden your knowledge of the business.Responsible for meeting assigned bookings objectivesConduct consultation and strategy meetings with clientsDevelop and manage a robust, metrics-driven sales plan in the target vertical that ensures attainment of corporate goals and key performance indicators; manage the sales pipelineProactively prospect and independently identify leads and key decision makers for targetDevelops sales strategies that will produce maximum market penetration within the target vertical and/or regionScreen potential business deals/opportunities with end user customers & analyzing market strategies, deal/opportunity requirements, prospect and market potentialMeet or exceed sales targets through detailed account planning and weekly forecasting sessionsBuild long lasting relationships with key industry decision makers that lead to continued sales, new upsell and cross-sell opportunitiesMaintain up-to-date awareness of industry trendsCultivate business relationships through networking, industry events, and outbound marketingMaintain industry and technical knowledge; participate in industry tradeshows and conferencesResearch and provide insight on competitive positioningAssist in decisions involving price structure and price negotiationsExercise independent judgment and discretion to make decisionsExperience You HaveAt least 2 years of experience in consultative sales with complex, high technology solutions.Experience in one of the following: Telecommunications, Networking, Wireless, Cellular, Facility industry desiredAbility to work as team memberCustomer Oriented - take care of the customers’ needs while following company procedures.Communication - communicate effectively with others using thru various mediums.Business Acumen - grasp and understand business concepts and issues.Analytical Skills - use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem.Relationship Building - effectively build relationships with customers and co-workers.Negotiation Skills - reach outcomes that gain the support and acceptance of all parties.Motivation - inspire oneself and others to reach a goal and/or perform to the best of their ability.Self-Motivated - be internally inspired to perform a task to the best of one’s ability using his or her own drive or initiative.Energetic - work at a sustained pace and produce quality work.Honesty / Integrity - be truthful and be credible in the workplace.Innovative - look beyond the standard solutions.Goal Oriented - focus on a goal and obtain a pre-determined result.Self-Confident - be comfortable with making decisions for oneself.Sales Ability - use appropriate interpersonal styles/communication methods to gain acceptance of a product, service, or idea.Detail Oriented - pay attention to the minute details of a project or task.Competitiveness - strive to get ahead or to finish projects.Educational/Vocational Training You HaveHigh school diploma (or equivalent) requiredPreferred Bachelors degree in Business/Communication (or related field) from an accredited institution, or an equivalent combination of experience, certification(s), and educationJob Type: Full-time
