Job Description

Job DescriptionCSCI Consulting is seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to support its Department of War (DoW / DoD) client. This role is responsible for validating that configured functionality, integrations, calculations, workflows, and reporting capabilities operate as intended before release and deployment.The QA Analyst will work closely with functional consultants, developers, business stakeholders, finance users, and project leadership to support test planning, test execution, defect management, regression testing, and deployment readiness activities. This position plays a critical role throughout System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), agency certification, validation, deployment, and post-production stabilization efforts in a highly controlled federal program environment.ResponsibilitiesSupport planning and execution of System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression testing, and production readiness activitiesDevelop test cases, test scripts, and validation scenarios based on approved business requirements, process designs, controls, and expected system behaviorVerify configuration and system functionality trace to approved functional and technical requirementsExecute test scripts and document results across financial processes, workflows, calculations, reports, dashboards, and system interfacesIdentify, document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution and retestingCoordinate with developers, functional analysts, and stakeholders to investigate issues and validate corrective actionsPerform regression testing to ensure existing functionality remains stable following enhancements or defect remediationValidate test data quality, completeness, and suitability for business scenarios and reporting requirementsConfirm end-to-end processing from source data through calculations, reconciliations, reporting outputs, and downstream system integrationsMaintain test evidence, execution logs, defect records, traceability documentation, and sign-off support materialsSupport business user readiness activities and help track critical issues affecting deployment decisionsParticipate in go-live support, hypercare, and post-production validation to ensure operational stabilityMinimum RequirementsActive Secret Clearance requiredBachelor's degree in Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field; equivalent experience may be substituted5-10+ years of experience supporting quality assurance, testing, validation, or system certification activities for enterprise applicationsExperience supporting OneStream, ERP, EPM, financial management, or enterprise business system implementationsStrong understanding of testing methodologies, including test planning, script development, execution, defect management, regression testing, and sign-off processesAbility to translate business requirements, process flows, controls, and reporting needs into structured test scenarios and validation proceduresExperience validating end-to-end business processes, system calculations, interfaces, workflows, and reporting outputsExperience supporting SIT, UAT, deployment readiness reviews, and post-go-live stabilization effortsCreativity and adaptability in problem-solvingAbility to work with clients to understand their needsStrong organizational and time-management skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProfessional presencePreferred SkillsExperience supporting federal financial management, budgeting, accounting, reporting, or performance management systemsFamiliarity with federal financial controls, reconciliation requirements, and reporting validation processesExperience working within compliance-driven environments requiring traceability, approval workflows, and formal testing governanceKnowledge of testing tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, HP ALM, TestRail, or similar platformsExperience supporting agency certification, validation activities, and production readiness reviewsFamiliarity with data validation, interface testing, reconciliation testing, and reporting certification processesExperience supporting Agile, hybrid Agile, or waterfall implementation methodologiesAbility to work in a team environment, as well as independentlyStrong customer and vendor relationship skillsDemonstrated ability to comply with data standards and policiesMotivation to learn new technologies and methodologies that demonstrate valuePast experience working with a Federal agencyDepartment of War experience is a plus!About CSCICSCI is an award-winning information technology and financial management consulting firm founded on one simple philosophy: “Do what is right, always.” We apply this philosophy across all elements of our growing business, from delivering world-class services for customers to providing an environment where associates thrive both personally and professionally.
