Job Description

The Executive Assistant provides high-level administrative and strategic support to the President of CarepathRx and Verity Solutions. This role serves as a trusted partner and extension of the leader, managing day-to-day operations, priorities, and communications to enable effectiveness at the executive level. The EA operates with a high degree of discretion, anticipates needs, and ensures seamless coordination across a complex, matrixed organization.Key ResponsibilitiesExecutive Support & Calendar ManagementProactively manage a complex, constantly evolving executive calendar, ensuring alignment with strategic prioritiesCoordinate meetings across multiple stakeholder groups, including senior leaders, clients, and external partnersAnticipate scheduling conflicts and reprioritize effectively to maximize leader impactStrategic & Operational SupportServe as a gatekeeper and thought partner, managing incoming requests and ensuring focus on high-priority initiativesPrepare the President for meetings by gathering materials, compiling briefings, and summarizing key insightsTrack key deliverables, follow-ups, and action items to ensure timely executionAssist with budget tracking, expense reporting, and vendor coordination as neededCommunication & Stakeholder ManagementDraft and manage executive communications (emails, presentations, talking points, and announcements)Interface with senior leaders across CarepathRx, Verity, and broader Evernorth/Cigna networksBuild strong relationships to ensure efficient coordination and information flowMeeting & Event ManagementPlan and execute leadership meetings and offsitesDevelop agendas, capture notes, and track outcomes and next stepsCoordinate logistics including travel, accommodations, and meeting materialsConfidentiality & DiscretionManage highly sensitive and confidential information with the utmost professionalismExercise sound judgment in handling complex or ambiguous situationsQualifications5+ years of executive-level administrative support, ideally supporting VP/SVP/President-level leadersProven ability to manage competing priorities and operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentExceptional organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills Strong business acumen and ability to anticipate executive needsAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel) and collaboration toolsHigh level of discretion, professionalism, and attention to detailIf you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.For this position, we anticipate offering an hourly rate of 33 - 49 USD / hourly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.At The Cigna Group, you’ll enjoy a comprehensive range of benefits, with a focus on supporting your whole health.
