Job Description
The Account Executive serves as the primary liaison between clients and Assurant, managing day‑to‑day business needs and ensuring a positive client experience. This role identifies growth opportunities, supports new product initiatives, and partners with internal teams to coordinate successful implementations. The Account Executive maintains accurate client data, oversees contracting activities, monitors financial performance, and conducts regular audits to ensure compliance and program profitability.
What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?Build and maintain positive relationships with key client stakeholders at all levels.Deliver accurate, timely responses to client inquiries and needs.Support the introduction and implementation of strategic solutions within client programs.Monitor service performance to ensure all client commitments and SLAs are met.Escalate and track quality issues to ensure resolution.Meet regularly with senior client representatives to discuss performance and opportunities.Serve as Project Manager for client-related initiatives and implementations.Identify, present, and manage new business opportunities and program enhancements for growth and retention.Implement program improvements that reduce operational expenses.Monitor key business metrics and revenue goals, providing insights to leadership.Prepare and deliver Business Reviews, coordinating all required documentation and logistics.Analyze program performance, provide recommendations, and present solutions to the client and internal teams.Facilitate claim adjudication and closure when needed.Lead client meetings and ensure completion of required documents, including Business Rules and SOPs.Manage contracting and re‑contracting processes, ensuring proper approvals and execution of all agreements.What are the requirements needed for this position?Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience2 or more years of project management experienceA minimum 3 years of business or related professional experienceProficient with computer systems, including all Microsoft applications and SalesforceExecutive level Power Point skills for client meetingsStrong knowledge of company products and servicesExcellent presentation skillsStrong verbal and written communication abilitiesUnderstanding of all Account Executive responsibilitiesWhat other skills/experience would be helpful to have?Works effectively with a wide range of teams, functions, and levels of leadershipPerforms responsibilities timely in a fast‑paced, high‑volume office environmentDemonstrates strong written and verbal communication skillsAble to lead and manage large groups to drive resultsMaintains confidentiality and properly handles protected or sensitive informationAdapts well to shifting priorities, direction, and resourcesAligns with organizational goals, remaining approachable, open‑minded, and respectfulIdentifies and recommends process or performance improvementsWhat are the working conditions and physical requirements of this job?
