This position offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your organizational skills and transportation knowledge to optimize supply chain processes and deliver exceptional customer service. **Responsibilities** * Coordinate and schedule freight shipments using vehicle dispatch software and transportation management systems such as Oracle Transportation Management and AS400\. * Communicate clearly with drivers, carriers, and clients via multi\-line phone systems, ensuring accurate information exchange and timely updates. * Monitor GPS and GIS data to track vehicle locations, optimize routes, and ensure compliance with DOT regulations. * Manage shipping \& receiving documentation, perform data entry, and maintain detailed logs for all dispatch activities. * Collaborate with internal teams through effective communication channels to resolve issues related to freight, scheduling, or vehicle availability. * Ensure adherence to road transportation operations standards, safety protocols, and DOT regulations while dispatching freight across various regions. * Utilize vehicle dispatch software and fleet management tools to assign loads efficiently, track deliveries, and update statuses in real\-time. **Qualifications** * Proven experience in transportation planning, logistics, or freight dispatching within a supply chain environment. * Strong knowledge of transportation management systems such as Oracle Transportation Management, SyteLine, or similar platforms. * Familiarity with GIS, GPS technology, and road transportation operations to optimize routes and improve delivery efficiency. * Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast\-paced setting. * Exceptional communication skills—both verbal and written—and phone etiquette for effective internal communication and customer service. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel) for data entry and reporting purposes. * Understanding of DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations governing freight movement and vehicle safety standards. * Ability to work independently from home while maintaining high levels of productivity and professionalism.
