This leader will be accountable for translating national strategy into regional execution, driving business performance through strong field leadership, cross-functional partnership, and disciplined execution against launch objectives.The RSD will build and lead a high-performing team of territory managers, foster deep customer relationships, and ensure alignment with corporate priorities, compliance standards, and Mineralys’ values. This is a highly visible field leadership role requiring strong business acumen, launch experience, and the ability to lead with urgency in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.The RSD will cover a Midwest Territory including:Green Bay, WIAppleton, WIEau Claire, WIMinnesotaNebraskaMissouriMontanaWyomingSouth DakotaIowaKey ResponsibilitiesCommercial Leadership / Launch ExecutionLead all regional launch planning and execution activities to ensure successful market entry and sustained product uptakeTranslate national brand strategy into actionable regional business plans and field execution prioritiesLead team to achieve or exceed sales goals, market share targets, and key performance metrics at launch and beyondMonitor market dynamics, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence to adjust strategy in real timeDrive accountability for performance through data-driven decision making and disciplined executionTeam Leadership / CoachingRecruit, onboard, develop, and retain top-performing territory managers across the regionLead, coach, and motivate a team of approximately 8–12 territory managersEstablish and maintain high level of disease state, clinical and product knowledgeEvaluate performance of territory managers and coach to skill and career development through regular field contactFoster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvementBuild strong succession plans and talent pipelinesCustomer / Market EngagementDevelop and maintain relationships with key healthcare providers, health systems, integrated delivery networks (IDNs) and strategic accountsPartner with territory managers on key customer interactions, access challenges, and develop account strategiesSupport pull-through with IDNs, organized customers, and priority accountstimely and effectively sharing of customer insights with internal stakeholdersCross-Functional CollaborationPartner closely with Market Access, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Training, Operations, and HR to support launch readiness and executionProvide field-driven input into brand planning, messaging, and tactical adjustmentsCollaborate with Area Sales Directors and peers to share best practices and drive consistency across regionsSupport national meetings, launch planning sessions, and field communicationsCompliance / Operational ExcellenceEnsure all regional activities are conducted in full compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal standardsManage regional budgets and resources effectivelyMaintain accurate forecasting, CRM utilization, and reporting disciplineUphold Mineralys’ values of collaboration, integrity, quality, trust, and urgencyQualificationsBachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred8+ years of pharmaceutical / biotech sales experience3+ years of people leadership experience in a district / regional manager roleProven success leading specialty sales teams and exceeding performance goalsPrior launch experience required; first-launch / startup biotech experience strongly preferredExperience in cardiovascular, nephrology, hypertension, or related specialty markets strongly preferredDemonstrated success in recruiting and developing top talentStrong business planning, analytical, and coaching skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environmentWillingness to travel extensively within regionLeadership ProfileA strong coach who develops people and builds winning teamsHighly accountable, with a bias for action and urgencyComfortable operating in ambiguity and helping build infrastructureCollaborative and able to influence across functionsResilient, adaptable, and energized by launch environmentsTravelThis position requires up to 60% travel.
