Staff Accountant (Remote)

**Staff Accountant Needed** =========================== Celero Commerce is looking for a detail\-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our Accounting team. In this role, you’ll support accurate financial reporting, contribute to month\-end close activities, and help maintain the overall financial health of the organization. This is a great opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys collaboration, problem\-solving, and working in a fast\-paced environment. **Responsibilities:** * Assist with the preparation of financial statements, reports, and analyses, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards * Support month\-end close activities, including preparing journal entries and reconciling balance sheet accounts * Collaborate with cross\-functional teams to gather and analyze financial data for reporting and decision\-making * Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable activity to ensure accuracy and completeness * Prepare routine reports and schedules to support financial analysis * Respond to requests from internal teams and external stakeholders with professionalism and timeliness * Maintain accurate documentation of financial transactions in compliance with applicable regulations * Support Senior Accountants, management, and functional teams (such as AP and AR) with ad hoc requests and projects * Contribute to process improvements that enhance efficiency and accuracy * Utilize accounting systems and tools to track and record financial data * Provide support across other accounting functions as needed **Experience \& Requirements:** * 2\+ years of professional experience in an accounting or finance\-related role * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field * Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards * Experience using accounting software and Excel for analysis and reporting * Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment * High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy * Clear and effective communication skills for working across teams * Ability to navigate ambiguity, think critically, and contribute to business\-impacting solutions * A strong sense of ownership and commitment to acting in the best financial interest of the organization * We are currently unable to consider applicants residing in California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont, or Washington. **Reports to:** Controller **Start date:** Immediate **Employment type:** Full\-time; Exempt **Benefits:** We provide a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, dental, vision, life insurance, identify theft protection, paid time off, and 401k (4% match) To learn more about our company, please visit Celero Commerce LinkedIn or Facebook pages: *Celero Commerce provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and
