Position SummaryThe Project Pursuit Lead (PPL) is responsible for driving order growth by qualifying, developing, and securing capital project business. This position plays a critical role in building strong relationships with customers, channel partners, and internal teams to successfully position the organization for project wins.The PPL manages the project pipeline, identifies and develops opportunities and ensures successful project execution through coordination of internal and external resources. The ideal candidate is highly organized, strategic, results-oriented, and capable of leading cross-functional teams to deliver tailored customer solutions and achieve business objectives.Essential ResponsibilitiesESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Sales and Project Pursuit LeadershipIdentify and qualify capital project opportunities and develop pursuit strategies to drive pipeline growth and order intakeAchieve assigned targets for project pipeline development and incoming ordersEstablish and maintain a project pursuit action plans supported by cross-functional teamsLead pursuit efforts including strategy development, action plan creation and executionLead regular project meetings with key stakeholdersCustomer Engagement and Solution DevelopmentWork closely with customers to identify opportunities Work with customers and their designated EPCs or OEMs to develop the best solution to their project requirementsDevelop plan to position ITT’s solution with customer needs and project requirementsProject Execution and Process ManagementCreate project action plan utilizing internal and external resourcesCoordinate with internal functions including legal, procurement, engineering, and customer service.Support commercial discussions to ensure alignment with project objectivesUpdate Electronic Quote Log (EQL) system with current project information and statusChannel and Relationship ManagementEstablish and maintain strong professional relationships with channel partners and key stakeholdersCollaborate with EPCs, OEMs, system integrators, and end users to drive project successPosition RequirementsTRAVELThe employee is required to spend much of the time travelling in the territory by air and car for customer sales calls and support of distribution in strategic sales calls and/or technical seminars at end users, A/E firms and OEMs. Travel requirement a minimum of 50%.QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
